Shougang Steel Ball covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters, consists of 5 workshops, 6 casting production lines , 3 on-line continuous quenching and tempering heating treatment lines, casting ball’s quality and production efficiency are highly improved by adapting automated casting production technology. The annual production capacity is 50000 tons including cast grinding media balls(Ø10mm-Ø150 mm) and cylpebs(Ø8*10 mm -Ø50x60 mm). Shougang Steel Ball has been developed into a professional manufacturer of grinding media and service provider in China within 10 years efforts.
Shougang Steel Ball successfully launched the high chrome grinding steel ball with advanced equipment and technology, product’s cost effectiveness reached national’s leading level. Tangshan Fengrun District Shougang Wear-Resistant Materials Co., Ltd. was established, with products including cast wear-resistant steel balls, steel segments, molds, and steel ball and steel forging dies. The company operates two medium-frequency furnaces, one quenching furnace, and one semi-automatic production line, with a designed annual capacity of 10,000 tons.
2007
We have added 20,000 square meters of new factory space, commissioned one fully automated iron‑membrane sand‑coating production line, and installed two medium-frequency induction furnaces to enhance the hardness and wear resistance of high‑chromium steel balls. Additionally, we have introduced one quenching line and, to ensure consistent product quality, upgraded our laboratory with a spectrometer.
2009
A new 4,000-square-meter factory building has been constructed, along with three medium-frequency induction furnaces, one fully automated iron-mold sand‑coating production line, and three tempering furnaces, increasing annual capacity to 20,000 tons.
2010
Three new electric furnaces have been added, increasing production capacity to 30,000 tons, and the company has been awarded the Hebei Quality and Integrity AAA brand.
2011
Tangshan Fengrun Shougang Wear-Resistant Materials Co., Ltd. has been renamed Tangshan Fengrun Shougang Metallurgical and Building Materials Co., Ltd., and the company has established an enterprise-level grinding‑media R&D center. The company has been recognized as a “Hebei Province Market Quality and Credit Assurance Unit” and has obtained ISO 9001 certification for its quality management system.
2012
We have added 4,000 square meters of new factory space and acquired two optical emission spectrometers, one hardness tester, and one impact testing machine. The company has established an International Trade Department, become an Alibaba supplier, and is focused on developing and serving the international trade market.
2015
The company’s registered capital has been increased to RMB 10 million.
2019
A new 2,000-square-meter factory has been added, and production and sales of excavator bucket teeth have been launched.
2020
Awarded the title of Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise.
2021
Awarded the designation of High-Tech Enterprise.
2022
Awarded the “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” SME designation; the bucket teeth are exported under our own brand, with direct contracts concluded with Korean customers.
